Wait Don't Take The Plate is an ongoing project that began as an Instagram series after the purchase of my first iPhone in 2014. The series started as a contemptuous response to the influx of food photography, created by the ritualistic raising of phones when the food is served. I wanted to reverse this glorification to the moment before the plate is taken away.
